Here are some of my opinions on the Terra Crusher:

At first when I hear Tamiya, I thought what can they know about nitro trucks. I have had the clod buster and many electric truck form Tamiya. I remember my first real RC was a buggy from Tamiya. I don't remember the  name but it was a great little car. The reviews looked good and I am always interested in new things so I just had to have one.

     MY FIRST LOOK

My first look after opening the box was WOW THIS THING IS HUGE. After pulling my jaw back up I started to really inspect the truck I was still very weary that this 2 channel thing would really work for gas, break and reverse. I thought for sure it wouldn't work right. I could wait no longer time to start the break in. ( 1 thing I will say this truck took longer than any to break in. I took my time though wanting to do it right.

Performance

After break in I was a little disappointed with the trucks acceleration. Being use to the Maxx and a .21 Maxx at that. It took off very slow but was having a lot of tranny slip. I finally decided to break the tranny down and see if it had any problems. It was fine. I reinstalled it and went back to breaking the tranny in. It took quite some time before I was able to get a decent acceleration out of this truck. I still don't think it is 100% but I haven't had a chance to drive it that much off road.

I recently put a tuned pipe on which I think made a big difference in the engine performance the truck is running cooler and I have been able to lean it a little more. Below are a few pictures of the TC with the new pipe.
