This page will give you some info on how to convert your little .15 T-Maxx to a .21 POWER HOUSE.  I recently pulled a .21 Hyper out of my Ofna 10 Pirate due to it had too much power for the little truck. I had this extra .21 sitting around and really couldn't afford to buy a .21 conversion kit so I did like so many others and cut my chassis and moved the tranny forward 1 hole. Here is how I did the conversion.

1. Start by removing everything off the chassis. As in picture 1.

2. Mark chassis to be cut  ( 3/8") like picture above showing where to mark.

3. Cut chassis with dermal or ? Remove pieces and sand all rough edges.

4. Install Transmission ( 1 hole forward ) to check fit. Note you will only be able to install 2 screws on each side of the transmission. 1 in front and 1 in rear.

5. Now use chassis stiffener to align center hole. Be cautious not to drill through transmission hole or it will strip out the threads.

6. Prepare your new .21 by installing flywheel, clutch nut, clutch, bell and engine mounts. " Note DO NOT CUT OR MAKE ANYTHING PERMANENT. I had to add 2 small spacer washers behind flywheel to achieve a good fit.

7. Remove right rear shock from rear assembly and mount assembly to the chassis. 2 screws only.

8. Check alignment of engine, spur gear, and rear assembly. You may need to make some adjustments here to accommodate the engine you have chosen. I needed to dermal the motor mounting holes on the chassis to accommodate the .21 engine mount. I also had to shave off some of the rear right bulk head to fit the pull start.

9. Once you achieve the correct alignment you can start to reassemble the truck and motor.

10. Rear driveline will need to be extended . It will need to be approximately 2" long. This measurement is taken from between the driveline heads. Not the total length.

11. Cut front driveline down to aprx 3/8" to 1/2". Same as measurement for rear.

12. Finish assembling the truck.

13. Linkage: I used a strong body post as a tower for the linkage. I drilled a small hole in each end. Mounted it to a hole I drilled in the chassis. Next find a swivel and attach to the top of the post. If you look at the picture you will see how I made my throttle linkage. Each engine may require something a little different than I have here but this gives you a good Ideal of how you can do it. Just adapt it to your situation.
