My .21 T-Maxx conversion had started some months back when everyone was first starting to question weather it would work or not. So I started messing with it after getting all the parts I thought I would need I cut my own chassis. When it was done it wasn't the perfect chassis as the ones out there now but it was all there was. I tested it for a while with great success and was very happy with it except it didn't look real sweet like the others. I finally broke down about 3 weeks ago and bought a New Era Chassis for the .21 Maxx and this is what you see below. I have added some Ofna Pirate Tires Proline gladiator rims and GPM springs. Info on .21 Maxx: 1. Ofna Hyper .21 Motor 2. Ofna header and pipe combo 3. GPM blue springs 4. My own cut skid plates. 5. New Era .21 Chassis 6. New Era Chassis Braces 7. Ofna Monster Pirate Tires 8. Proline Gladiator Rims The chassis is 1-1/8 inch longer than the stock
chassis (13.3 inch wheel base). The New Era .21 Motor Mount (TRM123) fits both a
rear exhaust .15 or .21 size engine
This is the first .21 conversion I was able to put together. It is a very nice kit also and is pretty inexpensive compared to some of them. The only thing I didn't like about it is you have to move 1 shock to allow the header to fit or have some weird angle on the pipe. It looks as though they are making a new header for this conversion to allow it to fit properly. I may need to pick one of these up. |
